When it comes to podcasting, since 2018, I have launched, grown, and monetised multiple podcasts, I have also worked with other passionate independent creators and branded podcasts.

Background

Since 2012, I have been working in Digital Marketing, specialising in SEO, with experience both in-house and agency-side. Launching my first podcast in 2018, SEO SAS, since then I have successfully launched, grown, and monetised four of my own podcasts in total. Using my passion and expertise, I help also both independent creators and brands reach their podcasting goals through consultancy and management.

Podcast Experience

My podcasts include SEO SAS (me and my co-host Hannah Bryce were the G.I Janes of the SEO industry), The Lipsticks (me and my co-host Jess Peace spoke about LGBTQ+ related topics), WTSPodcast (me and my co-host Areej AbuAli launched a podcast for the Women in Tech SEO community), and my latest The SEO Mindset (me and my co-host Tazmin Suleman talk about career development, growth tips, and mental topics related to the SEO industry). My podcast experience and skills involve every part of the podcasting process, including planning (pre-production), hosting and recording (production), and editing and publishing episodes (post-production).

SEO Experience

Having worked both in-house and agency-side, I have gained the required SEO skills to develop and implement effective SEO strategies for a range of different industries, for both small and large organisations. My in-house experience involves working for large, trusted, and established brands such as the health retail brand Holland & Barrett, and podcast hosting platform, Captivate.

Leadership

I am passionate about teaching others about both SEO and podcasting. Over the years, I’ve had the honour to speak and coach for a range of online and in-person events and conferences across the globe, including brightonSEO and Podcast Movement. I’ve been a guest speaker on other popular podcasts such as SERPs Up SEOPodcast by Wix and SEO Rant, and have appeared on BBC Hereford and Worcester. I have also co-authored two books including Majestic’s SEOin2024, and Blue Array’s In-House SEO Success, and co-founded the West Midlands Podcast Club.
